Free admission to NYC museums for Bank of America cardholders

Did you know you can get in free to seven museums in New York City if you carry a credit or debit card issued by Bank of America or Merrill Lynch? But only on the first full weekend of the month. Next free weekends: December 1-2, 2012, January 5-6 and February 2-3, 2013.

Some 150 museums, zoos and aquariums across the U.S. will let you in free of charge if you show a photo ID along with a qualifying credit card, including these museums in New York City:

Metropolitan Museum of Art (save $25 on adult admission; $17 for age 65+)

Whitney Museum of American Art (save $18 on adult admission; $12 for ages 19-25 & 62+)

Brooklyn Children’s Museum (save $19 on adult admission; $15 for ages 2-17 & 62+)

New York Hall of Science (save $11 on adult admission; $8 for ages 2-17 & 62+)

New York Historical Society (save $15 on adult admission; $12 seniors)

Rubin Museum of Art (save $10 on adult admission; $5 for age 65+)

Staten Island Children’s Museum (save $6 on admission)
